DAMU Logisticsdid not asidethe Kostanay tragedy

In addition to improving the efficiency of activities, our company is constantly working on the implementation of important socially significant tasks. Continuing the traditions of social responsibility policy, DAMU Logistics could not stay aside the tragedy oflarge-scaleforest fires in Kostanay region and sent its representatives to the affected region with a humanitarian mission. DAMU Logistics employees visited Auliekol district to hold a targetedcharity event – to give modern laptops to children who are temporarily studying online.
On September 16, representatives of the company handed over new laptops to 25 students of N. OstrovskyAmankaragaiSecondary School in a solemn atmosphere.
Duringthegiftsgivingceremony,in addition to children and their parents, deputies of the regional maslikhat, as well as the staff of the schools of the villages of Amankaragai and Ozernoye were present in the assembly hall.
Almira Zhansugurova, the deputy of the regional maslikhat, notedthat the help from DAMU Logistics was timely, and most importantly, specially delivered laptops were received by all students of the district whose homes were affected by natural forces.
“Today, at such a difficult time, the employees of DAMU Logistics visitedAuliekol district with a noble, merciful purpose. Every student in our district whosehousewasaffectedbythe disaster received a computer. New laptops will give children the opportunity to study and gain knowledge. On behalf of the parents and children fromthevillagesof Amankaragai and Ozernoye, the school staff expressed gratitude to DAMU Logistics and Almat Slyamkhanuly who handed over specially brought computer equipmenton behalf of the companyin a solemn ceremony.
“After the tragedy, dozens of children from Amankaragai and Ozernoye, unfortunately, did not have the opportunity for distance learning. We express our gratitude to DAMU Logistics from Almaty for supporting our children. As of today, 25 laptops have been presented to our students. We handed them over to the parents of the children,”said BibigulAkkuzhina, executive secretary of the Kostanay regional branch of the AMANAT party.
To those who could not attend the meeting in person, laptops will soon be handed over by the director of Amankaragai secondary school Lev Raschetov.
“We are grateful to you that you did not remain indifferent to our situation, sent your own representative, performed targeted work considering the needs of our families, andpresented our childrensuch high-quality laptops. Now they can both study online and learn the basics of 3D modeling. Currently, therearefourlaptopsleft, wetake care of them and will hand them over to our children. The first private industrial and logistics zone of the Republic of Kazakhstan DAMU intends to continue paying attentionto the implementation of socialtasks, and the humanitarian mission in the short and long term is a strategically important direction of the company's economic activity.
